Gwinnett County's Information Technology Department is a seeking a qualified consulting firm that can provide on-demand project management personnel to lead the implementation of information technology initiatives to enhance the County's technology infrastructure, business capabilities, and
- System/server/network update and support projects.
- Cloud system planning, evaluation, and migration projects.
- Security/audit compliance update/review projects. Network assessments, design, and tuning projects.
- Voice system (VoIP) assessments, design, and tuning projects.
- System architecture, design, and solution projects. Firewall update and support projects.
- Email security, load balancer and web filter support projects.
- Office 365 updates and support projects. Mobile data management update and support projects.
- Wireless network update and support projects.
- Application update and support projects.
- Commercial off-the-shelf software implementation projects.
- Major application maintenance projects.
- Database management system transition projects.
- Enterprise Application development projects.
- Report development projects.
- SharePoint and Web development projects.
- Business process improvement projects.
- Public Safety Application Updates and Support Projects.
- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
Projects Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, seven (7) years of information technology project management experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is mandatory.
- Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) or similar certification is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio and Microsoft Project is required.
- In-depth understanding of Waterfall and Agile Development methodology principles.
- Excellent and very persuasive oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Exemplary, advanced interpersonal, conflict resolution and leadership skills.
- Advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures in managing technology projects.
