Job Description :

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with leaders, architects, analysts, and internal customers to understand and define BI/reporting requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive Power BI dashboards, paginated reports, data models, and datasets.
  • Troubleshoot data issues, optimize queries, and ensure high performance of reports and visualizations.
  • Create detailed technical documentation, data dictionaries, and estimation plans.
  • Research and integrate new Power BI features, data visualization methods, and automation tools to improve reporting efficiency and usability.
  • Support the development and enforcement of BI/data governance standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
  • Work closely with data engineers and architects to ensure alignment with enterprise data strategy and architecture.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 1 5 years of hands-on experience developing and deploying BI solutions, preferably using Power BI in a production environment.

Technical Skills:

  • Power BI (Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Dataflows, Row-Level Security)
  • Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M language), and data modeling
  • Experience connecting to and transforming data from multiple sources (SQL, APIs, Excel, SharePoint, etc.)
  • SQL experience writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting queries
  • Understanding of data warehousing / star schema / ETL concepts
  • Experience working with enterprise data platforms (Azure SQL, Synapse, Snowflake, etc.)
  • Experience with publishing, workspace management, and Power BI deployment pipelines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Azure BI stack (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, etc.)
  • Experience building automated refresh schedules and data governance
  • Power BI or Microsoft certifications (DA-100, PL-300, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, Agile team environment
