Title: PeopleSoft Systems Administrator
Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Duration: 6 months contract-to-hire

Job Description:
The City of Fort Worth’s Information Technology Solutions Department is seeking an experienced Senior PeopleSoft Systems Administrator. The selected candidate will serve in the ERP Division of the IT Solutions Department, and will participate in the system administration, planning, operations, maintenance, design, support and implementation of the Oracle PeopleSoft environments.

Preferred candidates will have demonstrated experience with the following tasks and responsibilities:
Implement and maintain operational readiness & stability of PeopleSoft environments, maintaining web, application, and database tiers
Perform installs, updates (PUM images), patches, maintenance, support, troubleshooting and issues resolution for PeopleSoft environments
· Plan and manage the implementation of application updates, tax updates, tools patches on development, test, quality assurance and production systems
· Lead efforts for capacity planning, performance monitoring and tuning of systems
· Monitor system performance, optimize resource utilization, troubleshoot problems, manage and maintain reliable backup and recovery strategy
· Proactively monitor and manage batch processes
· Administer and facilitate code migration using PHIRE and administer scheduling system jobs/updates/changes.
· Enforce change management policies and system standards.
· Coordinate with staff to prioritize and schedule work and system updates
· Work with developers and functional teams to troubleshoot issues with delivered and custom developed PeopleSoft functionality, to update and maintain PeopleSoft security and to resolve performance related issues
· Participate in an on-call rotation to support the PeopleSoft applications outside of normal business hours
· Provide leadership to teams and work groups
Collaborate with co-workers and customers to deliver solutions

· Troubleshoot and problem solve in a PeopleSoft production environment

· Continuous learning and development of skills and approaches to deliver solutions

Preferred candidates will have experience with one or more of the following PeopleSoft applications/modules, versions and development tools:
· PeopleTools 8.5x, PeopleSoft 9.2, Microsoft SQL Server database and Windows servers
· PeopleSoft Web Server, App Server and Database interactivities
· PeopleSoft infrastructure and architecture, PeopleSoft Permission Lists and Roles
· PeopleSoft Integration Broker, ElasticSearch and Fluid technology
· PHIRE installation, workflow administration
