Job Description:
The Automation and Performance Testing Expert is responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive automation and performance test strategies to ensure the quality, scalability, and reliability of software applications. This role involves leading the implementation of test automation frameworks, conducting in depth performance analysis, and collaborating with development and operations teams to optimize system performance.
Key Responsibilities:

Test Strategy & Planning:
1.
Define and implement end to end automation and performance testing strategies for various applications (e.g., web, mobile, API, cloud).
2.
Develop detailed test plans, including scope, objectives, resources, and timelines for both automation and performance testing.
3.
Gather and analyze nonfunctional requirements (NFRs) related to performance, scalability, and reliability.

Automation Development & Maintenance:
1.
Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks and scripts using industry standard tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium).
2.
Implement and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
3.
Ensure test scripts are maintainable, reusable, and effectively cover critical functionalities.

Performance Testing & Analysis:
1.
Design and execute various performance tests, including load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, k6.
2.
Monitor and analyze system metrics (CPU, memory, disk I/O, network, response times) during performance tests using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace.
3.
Identify performance bottlenecks, conduct root cause analysis, and provide actionable recommendations for performance improvements.
