Position:OBIA/EPM Business Analyst

Location: Foster City, CA

Duration: 6 months+




Role Description

Domain Finance Technology EPM Other Skills OBIA / EPM, Big Data
Responsibility


The candidate should have experienced and have good understanding of Data warehouse and Analytical applications like purpose built using Big Data/Hadoop and/or COTS applications like EPM apps, OBIA etc.,
Candidate should be able to gather, understand the business requirements and translate into data requirements and design the data solutions.
Experience in building models to demonstrate the possible data outcomes using Excel.
Other Skills

This position requires proven analytical and warehouse applications experience with Finance applications
Ability to quickly understand, analyze the data and design solution options.
Excellent data modelling skills
Experience with Big data / Hadoop.
Good understanding of one or more ERP Applications
Good understanding of ERP modules like, GL, AP, Billing, Receivable
Understand business context, typical presentation of financial metrics
Works independently with the business to define requirements
Excellent SQL skills
Experience with Cubing technologies like Essbase, TM1, SSAS, AtScale, etc.
Excellent and effective communication skills
Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in a related field
