Job Title: Network Wireless Engineer L3 Location: Richmond, VA Duration: Contract Rate: $57/hr Good understanding of 802.11a/b/g/n based wireless architecture. Able to troubleshoot complex wireless issues Able to work in operations and involve in on-call duties. Engineer solutions to integrate wireless LAN coverage into facilities with existing wireless. Experience with Cisco Prime / Cisco MSE platforms. Experience with Cisco DNA / Cisco ISE is highly preferred. Knowledge on survey tools like Ekahau is preferred. Install, configure, and support Cisco Flex Wireless LAN Controllers/ Access points/ Wireless sensors etc Work with outside vendors and internal organizations to have wireless site surveys performed and required equipment installed. Resolve client connectivity, interference, authentication, roaming and coverage issues with wireless infrastructure. Identifies and resolves network problems and maintain LAN/WAN environment (wired and wireless) Experience in LAN and WAN management and administration including system configuration, troubleshooting, design, implementation, and user support. Good Knowledge on Routing/ Switching/ SD-WAN technologies to design wireless networks with better performance. Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP, Wireless, DNS and DHCP protocols and services.
