Job Description :

Role: Network Engineer

Location: Englewood, CO (onsite)

Duration: 12+ months

Interview: Phone and Skype

Responsibilities

Design architect and implement IP Lab data networks, and integrate with Intranet, Internet, LAN, WAN
Implement changes to the network, taking into account issues, such as – traffic logjams, essential infrastructure upgrades, troubleshooting issues without disrupting customer projects/initiatives, undertaking precautionary Lab infrastructure maintenance activities
Provide technical support and detect/fix persisting problems/issues
Interact with Lab internal and external customers to understand their business requirements
Work with Lab internal and external customers, to design/architect and integrate lab with other respective networking domains, based on customer requirements

Qualifications

Experience working with switches, routers, gateways, firewalls, and others
Experience with L2, L3 protocols and networking concepts/implementations, such as overlay/underlay networks, VLAN’s, Multi-Case, ACL, FW, Tunnels, Bridges, IPV4, IPV6, and others
Working understanding of data center protocols including: CIFS, NFS FC, FCoE, and iSCSI storage protocols; DNS, DHCP, PXE, LDAP, TCP/IP, and basic networking concepts around switching and routing, and key networking technology components, such as HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, SRV6, TCP/IP, ICMP and load balancing
Network elements integration and troubleshooting competence from customer projects
Ability to understand complex networks, analyze/identify problems, perform root cause analysis to provide resolution recommendations
Well versed with security, virtualization, containers, storage engineering, and Wide Area Networking (WAN)
Ability to design and architect optimally functioning networks that integrate with Intranet, Internet, LAN, and WAN
Familiarly with UE emulator and/or base-station emulator tools
Experienced technical writing skills sufficient to produce white papers, test cases, test plans, design documents, and technical diagrams
