Job Title: Network Architect
Location: US-WA-Seattle
Overview:
Duties and responsibility
Design and plan communication network for next generation corporate offices. (Smart/intelligent building)
Design and suggest networking types, protocols, segmentation – physical and logical
Articulate and challenge existing designs when suggesting new Network design
Assess Data volume, bandwidth and traffic on different networks and recommend network elements (Router, Switches, Access points, G/w.,)
Notional Network Design recommendations for IOT in Smart/intelligent buildings
Work with Network and Infrastructure teams to propose changes in network to handle HVAC, Lighting, Sensors and devices which enable user experiences in Parking, Lighting and office spaces.
Experience :
>15 years in the relevant field (Networking)
Masters Degree in Computer, Electronics engineering
Certifications like MCSE, CCNE etc would be added advantage
Working knowledge on WiFI, LAN, LoRAWAN, BACNET, Zigbee, RFID, POE, Mesh network required
Knowledge of Security standards and Protocols for Corporate Network
