Job Description :

Design Expertise:

  • Develop network engineering solutions in response to business and operational requirements and in alignment with customer standards for LAN hardware and configurations.
  • Discuss the service requirements with the customer requestor and document the solution design.
  • Develop bill of materials required to successfully implement the solution.
  • Provide guidance to customer on network products, services, protocols and standards as part of solution design and approvals.
  • Coordinate, oversee and execute installations and changes to the Network Infrastructure and system engineering and implementation activities, including upgrades and enhancements.
  • Coordinates and reviews all implementation and migration plans and scheduled changes with Customer for approval in advance, in accordance with customer Change Management Process.
  • Review and recommend UAT plans and results.
  • Develop firewall policies and rulesets based on business requirements for new firewall implementations in accordance with customer standards.
  • Review existing baseline policies and rule sets and propose modifications, additional rule

sets, or the removal of existing rule sets from Firewall.

  • Performs modifications and performance-enhancement adjustments to Managed Service
  • Conduct regular planning for technology refreshes and upgrades.
  • Provide device level configurations for Managed Service Components.
  • Provide ad hoc support to resolve Incidents and network issues (e.g. troubleshooting application
  • issues related to Managed Service Components (e.g. which firewall ports need to be opened to
  • enable application traffic).
  • Experience in designing integrated WAN and SDWAN solution for big WAN network.
  • Expertise in planning and designing WAN transformation and migration methods
  • Design, Solution, Build and Deployment Experience on below Advanced technologies 
    • BGP and MPLS
    • VPN technologies IPsec, DMVPN etc.
    • Routing protocols OSPF, EIGRP, ISIS etc.
    • Multicast technologies
    • SDWAN technologies e.g. CloudGenix
  • Expertise in preparing high quality HLD and LLD design documents
  • Identifying cross functional dependencies
  • Experience in sequencing the activities, scheduling the tasks and preparing project plan.
  • Experience in planning and conducting vigorous WAN network tests and generating a detailed test report

Technical Expertise:

  • Strong knowledge and expertise in developing a LAN/WLAN and global WAN solution
  • Strong knowledge and expertise in developing SDWAN solution
  • Experience in Routing on Cisco devices and Switching on Cisco and Brocade
  • Should have Network Administrator & acquired hands-on experience in the in large & complex setups.
  • Networking experience and extensive knowledge of LAN and WAN technologies (MPLS, Gigabit Ethernet, L2/L3 Switching, VLANs) are required. Service Delivery, Router Management, and configuration knowledge/ experience.
  • Experience in Configuration and troubleshooting of routing protocols (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP), RADIUS  
  • Manage and Maintain Wireless LAN network from Cisco and Motorola
  • Configure Cisco AP configuration and Wireless Access Security: WEP, Rotating WEP, LEAP, PEAP, and wireless area networks
  • Knowledge on monitoring and management tools like Micro Focus, ServiceNOW.
  • Good knowledge in Security environment, such as Firewalls, Proxy servers, SSL offloading, VPNs etc.
  • Detailed knowledge in implementing essential services for DC, such as DNS/DHCP/NTP and IPAM
  • Good knowledge in WAN, MPLS and Internet technologies
  • Knowledge on ITIL framework


Consulting Expertise:

  • Consulting and understanding holistic Campus LAN/ WLAN and WAN requirements with presales
  • Conducting project kick off meetings and engaging in detailed technical discussions
  • Network strategy and consultancy services.
    • Assessment and providing Recommendation reports
    • Provide network design services which meet and exceed the needs of customer
    • Propose and Validate BoM for Network Infrastructure solutions.
    • Preparing Scope of Work and Project Plans for the Solution.
  • Closely work with Project Managers and customer technical authority and ensure smooth delivery of project deliverables
  • Working with 3rd party hardware and Telco suppliers to ensure delivery expectations are met and issues escalated accordingly
  • Escalating overall none delivery issues in timely and structured manner as required
  • Providing Technical support to multiple services and another team member
  • Working as part of a project in a demanding environment where team work is key to delivering and meeting client commitments
  • Complete varied complex/non-standard tasks and may coordinate/oversee work of others
  • Understand customer requirements, translating them into refined and detailed specification documents
  • Provide resolution to project or customer issues, following proper escalation procedures, in a timely fashion
  • Create project documentation and procedures
  • To lead the project implementation phase and be responsible for delivery of projects on time and on budget.

  • Deep dive in to detailed analysis with high degree of technical knowledge to solve complex technical problems

  • Effectively communicating details complex problems to various teams and members
