Greetings. We have an immediate requirement for Senior Qlik Developer - Dallas TX Role: Senior Qlik Developer Location: Dallas TX Duties The Senior Qlik Developer should have a strong well rounded foundation in various aspects of Information Technology with at least a basic understanding of networks, databases, SharePoint email servers and file shares. The Senior Qlik Developer must be confident enough in their skills to be able to help guide users away from bad designs. The Senior Qlik Developer should be passionate about Business Intelligence and Qlik. Responsibilities: Participate in full development lifecycle from system design, development, testing and production implementation following Agile Methodologies. Extract, transform and load data from multiple sources into Qlik. Design and implement performance and scalable Qlik Data models based on source information and dashboard charting requirements. Perform data and systems analysis to translate business needs into technical code, as well as maintain and support code Troubleshoot performance, data, and functional issues with existing data model and dashboards. Assist in Qlik visual development and underlying Qlik expression layer for new and existing dashboards. Participate in Qlik frameworks and utilities that streamline repeatable development and improve our time-to-delivery. Perform data validation and regression checks on data model changes. Share knowledge through peer code reviews with other developers. Monitor and address data quality issues. Create and maintain technical design documentation. Adhere to and help set standards for design and coding, source control and documentation. Manage a development team that is responsible for all phases of the system development and implementation process including analysis, design, development, testing, and ongoing support for the client area application systems in an environment of diverse and complex development platforms. Skills Experience in Agile software development processes and techniques. Minimum of 4 full Qlik Sense or QlikView implementations where the candidate participated in both a Development and Technical Lead Role.
