The Test Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating and leading the testing activities and deliverables of small or medium projects across geos. The Test lead resource should have 8+ years testing experience with at-least 2 years in leading a team of 2-5 resources.
Specific work responsibilities adhering to TCOE testing practices includes
• Test planning and estimation activities
• Create Test Plan for requisite test phases
• Interpret requirements/specifications and identify test scenarios
• Ensure test cases aligned to approved requirements (Traceability Matrix)
• Ensure test data creation is planned, identified and executed
• Ensure test cases are documented, reported and tracked in appropriate test management tool
• Ensure Test creation and execution as per plan
• Ensure appropriate defect management
• Review test cases and test execution
• Identification of risks and issues
• Reporting activities as per agreed periodicity
• Contribute and collate testing metrics and retrospection activities (like RCA and lesson learned)
• Ensure specialized testing scope is identified and delivered by respective SMEs (automation, performance testing etc).
