Role Overview
We are hiring a Junior Backend Developer to join a net-new, high-visibility product initiative focused on Item Location Management, a platform critical to improving associate efficiency and end-customer experience.
This role is backend-heavy and will focus on API integrations, batch processing, and enterprise system modernization
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs

Build and support integration and batch-processing pipelines

Work with enterprise-scale backend systems supporting operational platforms

Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and product teams

Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and well-documented

Participate in code reviews and follow backend best practices
Required Skills & Experience

4–5 years of backend development experience

Strong hands-on expertise in:

Java

Spring Boot

Kafka

Azure SQL Services

Experience building enterprise-grade backend applications

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience working in large-scale retail or enterprise environments
