SQL Developer FullTime Chicago IL Job Duties Should have prior experience in application support activities (i.e. Incident Management, Problem Management, Service Request Fulfillment, Application Performance Monitoring, Job Monitoring and Root Cause Analysis Collaborate with 3rd party vendors to resolve support issues related to COTS & SaaS applications. Work with Service Desk and End Users to provide end-to-end resolution for Application Support issues. Coordination/Support for Release Management & Deployments. Support the ongoing effort to baseline current Asset database and CMDB. Prepare Application Know-how documentation wherever applicable. Prior development experience so can work on application maintenance tasks (corrective, preventive, perfective & adaptive maintenance activities) as required. Adhere to customer's IT Support processes and Security policy. Technical Skills Expertise in SSRS, SSAS and related technologies Good knowledge and expereince in MS SQL Server / Oracle database. Familiar with Agile & Waterfall SDLC. Understanding of ITIL v4 Service Lifecycle. Familiar with ServiceNow & JIRA. Good to Have Prior experience with Service Transition. Well-versed with Onsite-Offshore execution model. Ability to understand business requirements/impacts in a highly technical environment Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Good analysis skills in order to aid in trouble-shooting and problem-solving. High attention to details and service minded approach. Willing to learn new technologies on the job & cross-skill across similar technologies.
