Position''s General Duties and Tasks
Top must-have skills / Candidate Requirements: Software Engineer
SAS application engineering/ Design/ Architect , OR,
Python/ SPARK/ Scala application build within an Enterprise setting.
Extensive hands -on experience working on Docker- Kubernetes based Containerization solutions

Preferred skills:
Hands on experience working on Microsoft Azure or AWS based solutions especially within Financial services
Hands on experience with NoSQL (Mongo DB, Snowflake, etc) and Hadoop based data statistical modeling
experience designing and developing low-latency application code

Nice to have:
Agile methodology

Awareness of DevOps
SAS background

Years of overall experience required:
6+ years of experience

Day to day responsibilities:
Two to three week sprints (Agile / Kanban efforts)
Application troubleshooting
Architectural design and input
LOB interaction

Degrees or certifications required:
Software engineering/ Financial engineering/ accounting background required
Regulatory reporting background

Ideal vs Average Candidate:
