Job Description:
Job Title: Hadoop Administrator - 18021
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Duration: Long term
Interview Mode: In-Person (F2F)
Required:
3 years of experience working with Apache Hadoop as an admin.
Hands on experience in installing, configuring Cloudera, Map, Hortonworks clusters and using Hadoop ecosystem components like Hadoop Pig, Hive, HBase, Sqoop, Kafka.
Experience with Apache HBase and Hive.
Experience with Linux and Ability to shell script with Linux.
Ability to troubleshoot problems and quickly resolve issues.
Cluster maintenance as well as creation and removal of nodes.
Monitor and manage Server backup and restore Server status reporting, Managing user accounts, password policies and files permissions.
In-depth knowledge of Apache Hadoop and MapReduce.
Collaborating with application teams to install operating system and Hadoop updates, patches, version upgrades when required
