                                                                             Location: Remote for now due to Covid-19 but will need to be in Austin, TX eventually because it will convert. Target Start Date: 6/1/2020 LOA: 6-month C2H   Expected Weekly Hours: 40 Interview Times: Open (Business hours) Interview Process: 2 Phone Interviews, 1st with Director, 2nd with Sr team members    Role The Senior AWS Network Engineer will be part of the group that builds, maintains and supports infrastructure and a chance to get into a growing company at the ground level.    What a day is like:     Experience with general IT audit and PCI compliance and audit     Experience network administration and system administration     Experience with supporting high availability of web infrastructure     Excellent troubleshooting skills across cloud infrastructure and local endpoint hardware/software     Excellent problem solving and automation skills     Work closely and collaboratively with development, quality assurance engineers and support engineers     Troubleshoot and fix any infrastructure issues identified internally or in the production deployments     Experience with automation performing security updates, daily backups and data loads     Strong Unix/Linux/Windows scripting skills     Performing disaster recovery operations and data backups when required.     Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing network security measures.     Troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and other network and system problems.     Monitoring network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made       You're perfect for this role if you have:     A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred or equivalent education and/ or experience     Minimum of 5 years in network engineering     Minimum of 2 years' experience managing and working with systems deployed on AWS infrastructure.     Experience with AWS, RDS, S3, AWS SDK, MySQL, Linux/Unix scripts and windows scripts.     Familiar with Windows and Mac endpoints     Experience with Linux and Windows     Excellent oral and written communication skills     Ability to work independently and as part of a team     Good analytical and problem-solving skills.     Dependable and flexible when necessary.     Network security experience.     LAN and WAN experience.     Experience with supporting transactional and real-time systems a plus     Financial services a plus     Payment processing a plus     Network+, IT+, AWS+ certifications a plus
