Position: Java Developer

Location: Chicago, IL

Duration: 6-12 Months

Job Description:

• Exp: 3+ yrs - 2+ years on Java SpringBoot MS (Runtime Version 3.7+ EE) preferably in Support Roles (L4/L3 Production Support) or Developers with extensive support experience - min 1 project.

• Good experience in SQL and able to setup AWS DMS jobs

• Good knowledge of AWS, terraform, git, Jenkins.

• Good knowledge of terraform deployment, triage, in-depth troubleshooting if case of issue in deployment.

• Good experience in supporting UAT, Performance Testing and Production Deployments eg: API Testing through Postman, managing Middleware Configurations, creating deployment notes, etc. is a must.

• Good knowledge on APM Tools like New Relic and Log Management tools like ELK.

• Good experience in Issue/Bug tracking, Project Tracking & Collaboration Tools – Jira and Confluence highly preferred.

• Demonstrated hands-on experience in SLA-based Bug fixing and enhancements, Root Cause Analysis and Debugging for RAML-based APIs and Integrations.

• Should be open and willing to work in shifts, interact with multiple stakeholders for live working sessions and provide weekend support as needed.

• Certification on Middleware Platforms (Fundamentals, API Design).

• Understanding of Development Methodologies (Agile) and Onshore-Offshore working model.

Extras:

• Experience in designing and implementing custom MicroServices API policies is an advantage.

• Good knowledge on AWS - S3, EC2 is a bonus.

• Basic knowledge of DevOps tools – eg. Jenkins for Deployment is an advantage.

• Java certification is a bonus.
