Position: Infrastructure Project Manager

Location: Evansville, IN.

Duration: Long term Contract

Client: Infosys

 

Job Duties /Responsibilities:

·         Sound knowledge of infrastructure

·         VMware, Windows Admin, Linux experience a plus.

·         Experience managing data center projects would be ideal

·         Strong Vendor Relationship Management skills

·         ITIL Global Process Experience preferred

·         Familiarity with Service Now

·         Experience operating with a PPM

·         Project Technologies: Data Centers, Cloud Technologies, and MS Dynamics, Support Services

·         Clear understanding of industry standard IT infrastructure platforms, terminology, and leading providers,

·         including Datacenter, Server & Storage

·         Achieves and maintains expert level understanding of contact center and industry KPIs, service metrics, and

·         systems used to generate and track these figures including the equations and methods used to derive correct

·         results.

·         Analyze, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects

·         Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all subordinates are actively working

·         toward established milestones

·         Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges

·         regarding projects

·         Establish and implement training processes and strategies for all technical personnel

·         Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific

·         projects or initiatives

·         Recruit and train exceptional employees to fulfill posted positions within the technical department

·         Identifies emerging program risks and communicates to leadership mitigation plans.

·         Planning/organizing — able to prioritize activities and manage multiple tasks.

·         Quality control— demonstrates accuracy in configuration and documentation, with a desire for

·         standardization.

·         Dependability— consistently at work and on time, ensures follow-up with customers.

·         Teamwork – works well with co-workers, including cross-training on technology.
