Imaging Business Analyst

Waltham, MA

Project Description:

The Senior Business Analyst will lead the effort to understand the business needs and analyze, validate and document the business and system requirements that address these needs in large projects and across programs to deliver a strategic advantage. The role will partner with Business Relationship Managers to ensure the quality of the business cases, oversee the design and modifications of relevant business processes and ensure that proposed solutions meet established quality and compliance standards. The Senior Business Analyst will also determine the process and requirements management methodology practices within their function, ensure that the methodology, quality and compliance standards are being adhered to, and contribute to the establishment, documentation and maintenance of internal IS processes and standards for business analysis.





Business Problem:

Our client is currently mobilizing a large program to integrate an imaging technology platform that was acquired within the imaging technology larger footprint for the R&D organization.





Required Skills Set:



· Years of Experience: 7+ years of experience as a business analyst in a life sciences organization

· Education Required: Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Work Experience

· Must have experience with digital imaging technology in a healthcare/pharma environment, preferably for pathology

· Must have agile experience

· Must have experience gathering and creating user stories for efficiently delivering solutions

· Must have experience creating as is/to be workflows

· Must have experience writing concise business requirements documents

· Additional Preferred Skills:

· Scientific background would be a nice to have (ie, chemistry degree, lab experience, etc)



Physical Environment and Working Conditions:

onsite in Waltham 75% and international travel to Sweden and the UK 25%
