Hi All, Contract Position: Golang Developer Location: Denver, CO Contract Duration: 12 Months + Legal Work Status: OPT/CPT/H1/EAD/ GC/ Citizen Experience: Overall 8+ years MUST Skills: Docker > 3 years Skills: GoLang > 3 years Background: The team is building a web scale microservices using Golang and run in hybrid environment inhouse data center and AWS/GCP cloud using docker containers managed by Kubernetes. Looking for a seasoned developer who can contribute from day one of joining our team. Requirements: Must have hands on programming experience in GoLang language for 3+ years. Must have hands on experience with docker containers and Kubernetes. Must have hands-on experience inwriting unit tests, debugging GoLang service to identify and fix problems faster. Experience in building low latency and concurrent processing services. Should have built services that respond to millions of requests at a time. Should have experience in using Cassandra, Postgres, Couchbase, or other NoSQL databases. Should have experience in using Kafka, Rabbit or other messaging technologies. Should have strong experience in working with json datatypes in the services. Should be comfortable in using Git based Source Code Management tool. Good to have experience in to have experience in Salt Stack, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Automated testing, building Cloud Native Applications. Good to have experience in Consul, Vaultone, Netflix OSS stack, Nginx, API Gateways Good to have understanding of API testing, exposure to tools Fiddler, Charles, Postman, JMeter Good to have hands on programming and scripting experience on one or more of the following Python, Shell Scripting, etc. Good to have experience in Socket programming (Websockets), Network handler etc. Exposure to CI/CD/DevOps practices would be an added advantage Documenting service contracts using swagger like tools. Responsibilities/Accountabilities Understanding the requirements and developing design and code as per business and technical requirements. Creation of highly performant rest webservices Work in a team environment, able to work individually and/or do pair-programming and/or do crowd programming. Work with cross-functional teams and/or other service team and define and document the service contracts in standard API document tools such as swagger. Logging Defects with all relevant details (debug logs, network logs, initial root cause analysis, etc) and tracking the defect to closure Communicating status of the work with the project manager and work in an agile model Scrum/Extreme programming Exploring new techniques / tools and sharing this with others in the testing team
