Job Description
NCDOT ROW Unit would like to engage a technical specialist to assist in the rollout of the new ROWMS system for ROW management. This is a customized implementation of GeoAmps software and interfaces with SAP, GIS and SSRS.
*The candidate will be required to work onsite in Raleigh, NC. Some remote work may be allowed, but the candidate needs to work onsite or remotely from Raleigh, NC so that he/she can be onsite as required.
*The candidate will be required to come onsite the first day to collect equipment.
This will be a one year engagement to be re-evaluated at the end of one year for the continued need of these services based on the end user comfort level with the application at the end of the contract term. The contractor will be responsible for assisting with day to day troubleshooting, help with interfaces to other systems, assisting users with questions on the software, consulting with the BSIP team, GIS team, DBAs and GeoAmps representatives to assist in maintaining the system, including assistance with upgrades to the system as delivered by the vendor.
The specific software experience required will be the following:
GeoAmps
Interfaces to SAP
Maintaining SSRS Reports
Interfaces with GIS Web Services
Familiarity with SQL Enterprise Server
Familiarity with ServiceNow or the ITIL Change Process (for system upgrades)
Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience
Experience using and operating GeoAmps software Required 1 Years
Experience using or creating SSRS Reports Highly desired 1 Years
Experience creating or maintaining web interfaces with systems such as SAP or GIS Highly desired 2 Years
Experience using SQL Server Required 5 Years
