Job Description :
Front End Developer, Des Moines, IOWA. 12 months
SKILLS:
Must have Foundational front-end development knowledge: HTML, JavaScript, CSS
Experience with front-end frameworks and libraries
Nice to have o Knowledge of WCAG
ROLE:
Will be responsible for updating our web applications to comply with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
The team will o Perform “accessibility audits” on our web experience to diagnose the issues and address the problems
Code in various front-end frameworks (e.g. Dust, Backbone.js -like framework, React, JSF, XSLT)
Leverage various accessibility tools to conduct their work o Work with team scrum master to manage work
Coordinate and collaborate with the scrum teams that own these web applications/web experience
Partner closely with the Front-end Developer Experience (FEDX) team on implementing accessibility solutions
Research and solution for various accessibility issues
We do have implementation patterns for some common accessibility issues that we’ll need the team to follow, but they may come across some more complex scenarios that they’ll need to research and provide solutions for
