Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads resolution of incidents and problems
  • Understands and adheres to the IM (Incident Mgmt.) process and policies
  • Coordinates the team and identifies the path, keeping everyone engaged until resolution is reached
  • Provides adequate frequency of status updates to relevant stakeholders and ensures appropriate level of understanding of status and criticality
  • Understands and adheres to the process and policies for both change management and problem management
  • Understands how to navigate tools and processes
  • Conducts diagnostic steps to collect data and validate issue
  • Eliminates variables to pinpoint root cause
  • Completes testing to confirm resolution
  • Considers feasibility in development of solution and downstream implications
  • Does what is asked within the agreed upon timeframes and according to established procedures, protocols and/or requirements
  • Demonstrates responsiveness by conveying critical information to decision makers
  • Identifies and analyzes options and selects course of action based on best fit with desired outcomes
  • Drives tasks to resolution and ensures seamless hand-offs when required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 8-10 years of general IT Experience
  • At least 5+ years' experience working in a Microsoft Exchange hybrid environment
  • Deep understanding of Exchange Online and Exchange 2016/2019
  • Experience performing Exchange migrations in a global large scale environment
  • Understanding of mail connectors, mail routing, free/busy, email archiving, eDiscovery, DLP, and email encryption
  • Deep understanding of SMTP relays (Preferably Cisco IronPort)
  • Understanding of Active Directory and directory sync into Azure AD
  • PowerShell scripting experience preferred
  • Advanced level Outlook troubleshooting skills

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or other IT-related field

Notes :365 Admin 2nd Resource will join Exchange team and help with backend work of a recent M&A project o CST or ET time zone preferably 8-5 ish o D2D: ? working through Exchange support of user accounts as they are added from M&A o Need: O365, migration experience, PowerShell scripts (bulk load but not from scratch coding), Exchange online and on prem hybrid environment ? 5+ years of experience ? Exchange: mail connectors, mail routing, free/busy, email archiving, eDiscovery, DLP, and email encryption o Nice to have: Azure AD Sync process, DLP is nice to have knowledge: CISCO IronPort
