ERP Implementation Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced ERP Implementation Manager to lead the end-to-end rollout of an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system across multiple business entities. This role will act as the central point of coordination between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring successful implementation, adoption, and alignment with operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
ERP Implementation & Project Leadership
- Lead full lifecycle ERP implementation from planning through go-live
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and implementation partners
- Identify risks, gaps, and blockers and drive timely resolution
- Define rollout strategy, phases, and go-live readiness criteria
Business Process & Requirements Gathering
- Conduct discovery sessions with operations, finance, inventory, and leadership teams
- Document current workflows and translate business needs into system requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve and standardize processes
- Ensure ERP configuration aligns with real-world operations
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as liaison between business and technical teams
- Align ERP initiatives with business strategy and operational goals
- Drive communication across multiple entities and stakeholders
- Support change management and user adoption efforts
Implementation & Rollout Support
- Support system configuration, testing, and validation
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and issue tracking
- Assist with data migration, cleanup, and system readiness
- Develop training materials, SOPs, and user documentation
- Monitor post-go-live adoption and recommend improvements
Multi-Entity Alignment
- Ensure ERP supports multiple companies, locations, and operating models
- Align system setup with finance, operations, inventory, and compliance needs
- Drive scalable processes and reporting across the organization
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in ERP implementation, project management, or business systems
- Hands-on experience with ERP rollout or large system implementation
- Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills
- Experience gathering and translating business requirements
- Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, finance, and technical teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems such as ERPNext, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics
- Background in manufacturing, supply chain, or inventory-driven environments
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., cannabis, hemp, or similar)
- Experience working across multiple entities or locations
- Knowledge of process improvement and change management practices
- PMP or similar certification is a plus
