DevOps Senior Engineer

10 years of system administration, and/or network administration
The following are the requirements for the DevOps Senior Engineer position that is our most critical position at the moment.
Preference goes to candidates that that come from government or financial industries, with experience working on large programs supporting business critical applications.
5 years of experience in DevOps –CI/CD
10 years of system administration,and/or network administration
Experience in handling productionoutages and root cause analysis.
Experience in CI/CD toolsets (e.g.Jenkins, GitLab, Sonarqube, JIRA, Confluence, etc
Proficiency and Proven Hands-onexperience AWS Services; EC2, CloudFormation, VPC, ALB, AWS Security, S3, RDS,EBS, ECS.
Proven Experience in automationusing (Shell, Python, Ansible, Puppet, etc.
Extensive experience with the AWSCLI.
Strong understanding ofobservability and monitoring in AWS with CloudWatch.
Strong knowledge of Linux operatingsystems and environment.
Experience with “Infrastructure as Code” with CloudFormation and/or Terraform.
Hands-on operational experience in ahigh-volume or critical production service environment.
Experience with troubleshooting in networking and web standards such as DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, HTTP, web security mechanisms,proxies, firewalls & application delivery controllers.
Excellent communications skills(written, verbal, & virtual
Strong drive, self-motivated,logical, and detail-oriented.
Passion for new technologies,software & processes.
Ability to multi-task in afast-paced environment with multiple deadlines is essential.
Ability to task and mentor juniorsystems and DevOps engineers.
