However will offer 100% remote to right candidate Delphi Programmer Contract Phone/Skype Lansing MI Delphi Application Programmer The Application Developer's role is to participate in the design, development, and implementation of organizational information systems and software applications. The Application Developer is also responsible for planning, assigning and directing the maintenance and support of existing systems and applications. This individual will apply proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of best practices to enable the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical information and software systems. Responsibilities: Ensure that development projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues. Review and analyze existing application effectiveness and efficiency, and then develop strategies for improving or leveraging these systems. Recommend Best Practices and Procedures to continuously improve software development and support of existing production systems. Assist in the development and deployment of new applications, systems software, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout the enterprise. Collaborate with Business Users\Analysts to determine and document system requirements. Assist in the researching and making of recommendations for new software products and services in support of procurement and development efforts. Ensure that any new software integration into company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications. Collaborate with analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing of new software programs and applications. Development of new features in existing Delphi application as well as maintenance, support and optimization of existing code. Translating business requirements into effective and efficient programming solutions. Writing documentation, unit and system testing and assisting in training Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Management and/or an equivalent combination and education and experience Minimum of 5 years in a similar role Delphi Experience required Familiarity with Delphi version (10.x) Delphi UI, database and file IO experience Building web apis and api clients with Delphi Attention to detail Ability to work independently and in a team environment Email: Peter at softsages dot com
