Data Warehouse Architect

Contract 12+ Months
Requirements:
. Advanced experience with IBM DataStage is required.
. Advanced experience with IBM Cognos Analytics Suite is required
. Understanding of Kimball data warehouse modeling concepts
. Strong knowledge of DBMS concepts: good conceptual understanding of data structures and basic algorithms (e.g. Stacks, sorting, queues), indexing, performance tuning and query/report SQL optimization
. Experience in IBM Cognos SPSS software and predictive analytics
. Preferred experience with Child Welfare agency.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with stakeholders and managers to understand and maintain focus on their analytical needs, including identifying critical KPIs and delivering actionable insights to relevant decision-makers
Requirements gathering with business users to design analytic solutions, including Data Warehouse, Reports, Dashboards, Cubes and AI/Machine Learning models.
Fulfill the business/technical requirements from state administered SACWIS system
Utilizing ETL best practices, design data architecture, including Data Governance, Master Data Strategy, Master Data Management, Data Quality, Data Modeling, ETL Approach and Data Storage.
Design Data Analytic models, utilizing IBM Cognos Framework Manager and Data Modules to guide the delivery team to realize an optimized solution
Identify the gap between business requirement and data architecture and propose solution to resolve or shorten the gap
Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis, utilizing IBM Cognos Analytics
Identify trends and opportunities for growth through analysis of complex data sets
Producing security plans and implementing security in IBM Cognos Analytics
Training end users in the IBM Cognos tools and the solutions
Integrate data with Diona Mobility solutions to produce better outcomes
