Title: Data Engineer/Data Scientist Duration: 1 Year + Location: Lansdale, Pennsylvania Job Description Technical: Advanced knowledge of SQL & AWS Redshift and S3 Experience with reporting technology, such as Spotfire, R-Shiny, Dash, etc. Experience with relational database design in AWS Cloud Experience writing modular and generalizable code Knowledge of ETL methodologies and workflow management frameworks Knowledge of ETL pipeline validation (logging, unit testing, etc Knowledge of Python & R scripting language Knowledge of version control with Git Business: Strong leadership and ability to work independently to drive toward solutions Experience with Pharmaceutical Commercial data required; knowledge of Oncology data a strong plus Superior communication skills and the ability to ask the right questions and present alternatives and solutions effectively Experience with project leadership and management Ability to rapidly translate business issues and ad-hoc requests into data deliverables and solutions Experience in a first line business support or operational role is a plus Project Description: The IT team is seeking a multi-faceted Business Analyst/Data Scientist to work directly with the Oncology business area in gathering and executing data requirements related to a number of field-facing and digital commercial initiatives. The candidate must be able to work independently to capture the business need, navigate a multitude of data sources including internal and third-party data, and provide solutions (including extracts, ad-hoc analyses, reports, and dashboards) to meet the informational needs of the business.
