Data Engineer/Data Scientist (R, SQL)

Long term
Expert in data analysis tools such as R, Teradata and Python
o Capable in building templated, standardized, or custom R-Shiny or R-Markdown material (including ggplot2 R package graphics)
o Capable in building templated, standardized or custom Tableau projects, dashboards, and other material
o Ability to build custom user interfaces via Python; with the ability to integrate with R for various purposes
o Strong communication skills and engage with multiple stakeholders; Ability to Communicate Difficult Concepts with Clarity
Experience with large databases, datasets and data analysis.
· Highly proficient in SQL and Complex queries.
· Knowledge of Teradata (SQL) is nice to have
o Ability to apply analytical skills to quickly learn and explore new data sources
o Strongly supports teamwork and sharing knowledge
o Motivated to implement the concepts of automation and re-usability
o Driven to succeed but organized and methodical
o Ability to generate actionable value-add insights from complex data using tools
o Ability to translate data analytics into actionable insights and work with the business to drive and embed change
Skills that are nice-to-have:
VBA Expertise
SAS Experience
Prior history working with Medical data such as hospital charge master, claims, epidemiological databases, and etc.
