DATA ENGINEER & DATA ARCHITECT Jobs – Remote, Work From home option available

GENERAL INFORMATION:
1. Requirement two: Data Architect

4. Client location: PITTSBURG, PA
5. REMOTE UNTIL PANDEMIC
6. Job option: Remote, Work from home job till COVID situation settles. Candidates may continue working on-site or end the job after covid

DATA ENGINEER - REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
1. Design, model, and implement data structures, topic event schemas in Kafka, normalization and transformation in consumable data within the data platform
2. Responsible for the design and development of the conceptual, logical, and physical data/event models, the implementation of Kafka Event backbone, and Event data stores on target platforms (AVRO/NoSQL
3. Knowledge of any Financial Industry data model – BIAN/ISO/BDW/IFW
4. Prior knowledge of Data Sourcing from Mainframes and RDBMS systems, Data Mapping and Data Modeling in RSA preferred.
5. Experience in Schema Registry , Schema Versioning, Schema Evolution is required.
6. Understand implications of data upstream and downstream
7. Thorough understanding of Kafka, producer / consumer / topic technologies
8. Ability to innovate on the latest technologies
9. 2 Positions need be heavy on No-SQL experienceMongoDB & MySQL)

DATA ARCHITECT - REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
1. Lead messaging modelling, persistent data modelling, normalization, transform, migrate, cleanse and all other aspects relating to data
2. Oversee and govern the expansion of existing Event data architecture based on BIAN framework via best practices.
3. Knowledge of any Financial Industry data model – BIAN/ISO/BDW/IFW
4. Good Knowledge in metadata management, data modeling, and related tools (RSA , Apache Atlas , No-SQL databases) required.
5. Understand implications of data upstream and downstream
6. Make key decisions on technology and tools to implement from a data platform technology standpoint
7. Thorough understanding of Kafka, producer / consumer / topic technologies and drive implementation of the technology
8. Estimate work effort for data related technologies
9. Ability to innovate on the latest technologies
10. Lead cloud hosted data persistence technologies for redundancy, resiliency, performance, maintenance and sizing
