Title: Sr. Data Analyst (SAS, Informatica, Mainframe)
Location: Deerfield Beach, FL
Duration: 6 Months
REMOTE THEN ONSITE EVENTUALLY
Mainframe -Its a big plus. but if a candidate is strong in other areas and ability to learn new data locations that will also be considered.
Senior candidates only with strong functional and technical analytical skills
Strong technical knowledge / expertise; experienced in data research, strong technical requirements gathering; COBOL / DB2, Informatica, SQL knowledge; SAS is a plus
The main frame experience with Cobol and DB2 etc
Qualifications:
7+ years experience working as a data analyst leveraging BI tools in a centralized data warehouse environment
5+ years hands-on experience working with SQL with an understanding of different data structures (flat files and RDMS)
3+ years experience with data modeling concepts and techniques
Proven experience on projects involving data integration, data warehousing, data cleansing and data conversion process and/or tools
Experience working with Teradata Data Warehouse or other RDMS
Well versed in data management concepts, data lifecycle and methodologies
Knowledge of data integration and data warehousing concepts for advancing business insights and data driven decisions
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, leveraging both logic and creativity
Excellent written and oral communication, as well as, strong organizational and presentation skills
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment
Excellent facilitation and meeting management skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships within and between individuals and cross-functional teams
Solid understanding of technology concepts, trends, and capabilities
Strong customer service orientation
Ability to understand the unique needs of the customer and translate to actionable results while delivering high quality outcomes
