Cloud Virtualization Engineer ( Kubernetes Engineer) Will be mostly remote, but will be required to be on site occasionally in either Columbus, Ohio, Basking Ridge, NJ, Southlake, TX, Bridgeville, PA We are looking for a strong Kubernetes Engineer. who is moving their network to the cloud using Kubernetes. This candidate should have strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Open Stack and RED HAT Linux. MOST IMPORTANT IS STRONG KUBERNETES SKILLS. The Cloud Virtualization Engineer will work as part of a highly interactive, cross functional team that is responsible for providing support for hardware, OS, software applications, and networking to internal customers in a fast paced, enterprise environment. Responsibilities of Cloud Virtualization Engineer: Assess and implement solutions as a best course of action as it relates to the customer experience Partner with peer groups (planning, engineering, network services, field teams) to ensure consistency in the utilization and execution of virtual and containerized network function solutions Utilize OpenStack knowledge to build and manage the core cloud-computing network services Ensure the proper observability tools are available to work with high speed network functions and the private cloud infrastructure Requirements for Cloud Virtualization Engineer: 4+ years' experiences with Kubernetes engineering and implementation at an enterprise level Experience with Openstack, network function virtualization with containers or virtual machines Extensive networking knowledge and Red Hat Linux architectural knowledge Understanding of performance analytics and business intelligence tools (Tableau, Python, R) Certifications with Kubernetes, Openstack, Cloud, Red Hat strongly preferred
