Job Title : Cloud Database Architect
Location : Remote in US
Duration : Long term contract
The role involve migrations to AWS and on prem.
* Migration of Microsoft SQL Server (URGENT NEED) - Migration date solidified at 1/16/2021.
* Experience with Licensing and Cost Modeling MS-SQL in AWS
* Strong knowledge / experience in Migrating Microsoft SQL server to AWS.
* Must be able to articulate differences in performance / resiliency / cost etc between running MS-SQL on RDS vs on EC2
* Must be able to present options to customer and provide recommendations.
* Strong knowledge of setting up Monitoring, Backups , Restores , DR etc.
* Strong knowledge of MS-SQL migration options and tools (MDS, Log Shipping , Cloud Endure Others)
* Strong knowledge of SQL Clustering with older 2014 and newer versions of MSSQL
