POSITION SUMMARY
Infrastructure Engineering is responsible for building/creating and increasing the reliability and efficiency of all systems and platforms across the enterprise. In this role, you''ll be involved in setting technical direction and building next generation architectures and designs for our services. The infrastructure engineering team is responsible for a variety of tasks spanning all levels of the technology stack and strive to implement highly available solutions by constantly improving and implementing new hardware, technology and stable configurations. The team solves challenging problems and requires an innovative and well-versed engineer that is also an experienced and skilled leader.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Develop, coordinate, and integrate IT Infrastructure engineering project plans.
Provide tier 2-4 level support to IT Infrastructure Engineering staff members and company associates.
Travel and provide off hours support in order to maintain critical business operations.
Configure and maintain the systems engineering platforms and services supporting the corporate and regional offices. Document all configurations and procedures for setup.
Develop and Maintain a Systems Engineering Technical and Security Policies and Procedures Manual.
Monitor the performance of systems and advise management when additional processing or technology enhancements are required.
Supervise and Perform maintenance on systems in accordance with documentation and plans.
Coordinate activities with the Network Operations Center and Regional offices to ensure a minimum of system or client downtime.
Manage and maintain Security and IOS patch levels on all systems and devices.
Manage the security posture of the security capability of the systems and report to management issues that need to be correct.
Projects as needed.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education
College degree or equivalent experience
Experience
Strong knowledge of Citrix Netscaler beyond Citrix Access Gateway and Load Balancing
Knowledge of, and hands on experience with MFA integration with Netscaler Gateway VPN
Expert knowledge of, and hands on experience designing and deploying Citrix XenApp environments
Knowledge of, and hands on experience deploying and supporting Microsoft Windows Server operating systems
Knowledge of Vmware and Nutanix AHV
Knowledge of Cisco UCS, Pure Storage, Cohesity, and Nutanix
Expert knowledge of Citrix specific areas of Active Directory and Group Policy structure
Knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL, MSSQL, DB2, etc.
Familiarity with public cloud concepts with AWS, Kubernetes, EC2, RDS, ALB/ELB, S3
Familiarity with Linux operating systems
