Role: Virtualization Engineering Resource - Citrix Administrator
Must Skills:
Citrix Administrator XenApp, XenDesktop (6.5 ,7.x)
Plus Skills – VMware , Ivanti
Degrees, Certifications/training – Graduation ( B.E, Training in above technologies)
Overview:
5-7 Years of Exp in Administrating XenApp, XenDesktop, Provisioning server, StoreFront, NetScaler and NetScaler Gateway
Definition of systems strategy, gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, as-is and to- be business process designs, conference room pilots (CRPs) functional configuration & testing
Assisting in design and development of Citrix technologies and other End User Computing technologies.
Involved in supporting load testing team during various testing phases for performance tuning of the application.
Troubleshooting and maintenance of Citrix 5/6/7 Servers.
Citrix Virtualization solution NetScaler Gateway and Load Balancing.
Drive Application Migration Projects .
Troubleshooting AD service.
Troubleshooting Windows OS related issues.
User management ( Access issues, Permissions etc)
Coordinating with and supporting the windows application for all the activities
Providing Level 2/3 support & troubleshoot the issues at server level.
Involvement in the Incident and change management program
Major responsibility is to maintain the SLA of Service Now Incidents.
Attending Bridge calls for the outage resolution.
Manage the offshore/onshore teams to ensure 24/7 availability of applications with shift scheduling and proper coverage as per client requirement.
