OurFortune 17 retail client is looking to add an experienced Azure Data Engineer to their team. In this project you will beworking with the Data Management Platform to expedite inventory tracking withinBrick and Mortar stores.
TheEnterprise DMP is designed to integrate the changingtechnology and data landscape across the enterprise. Avariety of connection points give people more options to access and consume keydata assets within the enterprise across all data patterns like batch andreal-time. In addition to increased accessibility, the DMP will offer aone-stop shop of high-quality data where data consumers can trust they areusing a single version of the truth to inform business decisions.
What other Initiative teams canexpect from the Enterprise DMP:
Ability to quickly test and deploy data solutions usingsearchable data assets that are easily accessible and that meet the requiredspeed of the business decision
Ability to deliver optimal business value faster and at scale byutilizing governed, cleansed, and organized enterprise datasets from across thedata ecosystem
Ability to maintain data consistency by adhering toestablished contracts with upstream data providers and downstream consumersrelated to quality, latency, and accessibility
PositionSummary
Accountablefor developing and delivering technological responses to targeted businessoutcomes. Analyze, design and develop enterprise data and informationarchitecture deliverables, focusing on data as an asset for the enterprise.Understand and follow reusable standards, design patterns, guidelines, andconfigurations to deliver valuable data and information across the enterprise,including direct collaboration with local data science companies, where needed.Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity,diversity, inclusion and safety.
EssentialJob Functions
Leverage enterprise standards fordata domains and data solutions, focusing on simplified integration andstreamlined operational and analytical uses.
Ensure there is clarity betweenongoing projects, escalating when necessary.
Leveraginginnovative new technologies and approaches to renovate, extend, and transformthe existing core data assets, including SQL-based, NoSQL-based, andCloud-based data platforms, specifically the Azure suite of tools.
Cassandraor MongoDB experience is preferred.
Musthave an experience with Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory
Pythonscripting experience is a plus
Define high-level migration plans toaddress the gaps between the current and future state.
