Role: Business Planning and Control System consultant Location:Southfield,MI Duration:Contract Job Description: Minimum of 8 years of relevant job experience Able to mentor other developers; provide input based on past experiences/expertise; lead by example to peers/colleagues; a team player with team building capability Complies with the company's guidelines and corporate policies at all times Able to handle multiple projects, define project scope and objectives, assist with project schedules, work with cross-functional project team(s) and adhere to project deadlines, while staying within the approved budgeted parameters accordingly Minimal travel to corporate office or North/LATAM America manufacturing plants. Experience in supporting multi-location manufacturing enterprise software products such as JobScope or BPCS ERP/LX. Strong collaboration skills with ability to collect business requirements and interface with the internal and external user community including various levels of management. Manufacturing industry experience, preferably within the core process domains of planning/scheduling, master data, production, shop floor control, inventory management, distribution, warehouse management and finance. Effective written communication and presentation skills. Experience with Microsoft office products, including MS-Visio and MS-Project. Job duties Works on multiple applications. Provides informal mentoring to less experienced colleagues. Develops innovative and creative output based on interpretation and analysis. Participates and may lead critical projects, client engagements or business processes. Participates in establishing and maintaining application standards and processes. Effectively communicates application and technical direction to the business and within the client s IT organization. Advises on issues of systems integration, compatibility, scalability and multiple platforms.
