Title - Business Analyst - BI

Location - Remote (East Coast Person)

Duration - 6+ Months 

  • Degree in Computer science, Information systems, business-related subject, or equivalent
  • 7-10 years of experience in the data and analytics space.
  • 5+ years' experience in working as a Business Analyst (BI)
  • 3+ years' experience with implementing and/or supporting Business Intelligence Tools (i.e. Qlik, PowerBI, Tableau and/or Looker or equivalent)
  • 2+ years’ experience with AWS Redshift
  • 2+ years’ experience with being a part of and supporting an Enterprise wide Data Management Strategy
  • Experience with the modern cloud-based data warehouses technologies such as snowflake (preferred), Google, Amazon
  • Strong Technical background and capability to write advance queries to do data analysis and mining.
  • Strong command of data modelling, data integration, data virtualization, data warehousing, in-memory computing, major BI platforms, data sciences, and machine learning
  • Analytical Toolkit – the ability to exercise different problem-solving approaches to analyze results, including but not limited to time series analysis, experimental design and data visualization
  • Experience with and/or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies (Jira preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to have driven/completed multiple, complex technical projects
  • Knowledge and experience with MDM and Data quality is a plus
  • Pharma OR Life Sciences Domain experience is preffered
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt communication style to technical and non-technical audiences, both verbally and in writing
  • Self-motivated, driven individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong team orientation and collaborative style. Flexible demeanour and an ability to get involved in the details while maintain a wider view
  • Strong business and technical aptitude with an attitude to solve complex problems
