Position Title: Business Analyst

Dynamic Interactive Business System Inc. is looking for One (1) Business Analyst for its Direct Client in Springfield, IL.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Associate’s Degree or higher in Business or Information Technology (IT) related field
Minimum 5 years of experience working as a Business Analyst
Minimum 5 years of experience documenting a full set of business requirements using recognized methodologies
Minimum 5 years of experience testing software
Minimum 5 years of recent experience with State and Federal Statutes and Rules regarding Underground Storage Tanks
Possess English communication skills (written and verbal)
Key Duties:
Elicits business requirements from a variety of sources including: review and analysis of current system functionality; interviews with end users and subject matter experts; and review of policy/procedure manuals and business process descriptions.
Works with project Database Administrators (DBAs) and developers to review and document a description of current system functionality and required system functionality to determine the appropriate system functionality.
Works with business owner and subject matter experts to identify gaps between the current system functionality and field edits and what is needed.
Translates user needs and business rules into project artifacts including, but not limited to, detailed business requirements documents, functional requirements, scenarios, and screen/interface designs.
Develops documentation in a manner that facilitates a clear and shared understanding among managers, programmatic staff, technical staff and end users.
Participates in requirements walk-through verifying with user representatives/stakeholders that business requirements, process models, etc. accurately portray specific business needs.
Prepare and conduct comprehensive software testing of completed applications to ensure they implement the business requirements.
