Title: Azure Virtual Network Architecture Location: Atlanta, GA Duration: Contract Client: Cognizant Required Skills: Azure Virtual Network Architecture, (prefixes / CIDR blocks) and subnets Job Description: Azure Security center Need to work with customer to setup / configure the Azure Security Center. Ability to manage and apply Security best practices as per defined standards - Azure Security Center. Work on the Security Center Alerts and remediate. End Point Protection a. Understand from customer if they need any COTs antivirus products, before starting any baseline policy/config validations for Defender. b. Work with customer to finalize the End point Protection solution. Good knowledge / hands-on experience in Network Security Groups and Micro-segmentation concepts Good knowledge / hands-on experience in UDR and Load balancers Good knowledge / hands-on experience in VPN Gateways and ExpressRoute connection Good knowledge / hands-on experience in Azure Firewalls Good knowledge / hands-on experience in Service tags and service endpoints Good knowledge / hands-on experience in NAT and PAT concepts Good knowledge / hands-on experience in Terraform/PowerShell and automation scripts to support the Azure environment Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner. Ability to manage and apply Security best practices as per defined standards. Ability to work within a cross-functional team of Cloud Engineers, App Admins, DBAs and DevOps. Ability to work closely with business/application teams to gather requirements Ability to design and implement solutions, manage technical operations, triage and fix operational issues. Should have ability in developing and maintaining documentation for multiple environments. Identify repetitive tasks and build automation scripts. AZ-500: Microsoft Azure Security - Certified Thorough understanding and experience with AZURE native controls To independently resolve tickets, provide on call support and doing root cause analysis to ensure positive customer feedback. To provide support for on call escalations and doing root cause analysis of given issue. To independently resolve tickets within agreed SLA of ticket volume and time. To adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies. Work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update & management. Work on the Security Center Alerts and remediate. Good analytical skills, knowledge on OMS queries using KQL Identify the improvement areas and prepare documentation. Experience in solution engineering application architecture for horizontally scaled environments that are highly virtualized. An expert level understanding of the AZURE core services and technologies Proven Experience in designing solutions utilizing most of AZURE technologies In depth understanding of technologies: threat management, identity management, monitoring, configuration management, capacity planning and performance tuning, high availability architectures. Hands-on experience with designing Virtual network and security solutions. Good knowledge on firewall and access controls Good to have Azure Sentinel knowledge and skills Knowledge of Power shell would be an advantage.
