Role: Automation Engineer Location: Austin, TX Type: W2 Required Skills : Kubernetes, Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, Windows We are seeking an individual who can act as a Team Lead/Individual Contributor. In this role you will be working with the platform architecture and engineering teams to develop an automations frame work and automated capabilities to operate within that framework. These automation opportunities include platform build, release deployment and quality assurance testing. The enablement of these user stories/requirements is a team effort and collaboration skills are at a premium. You will be responsible for automating the build-out of systems and the software components as well as the deployment capability. You will have minimal supervision and must be able to follow the existing manual processes to define automated processes, including change review and creating documentation for those automated processes. We are looking for someone who can learn from others and at the same time provide guidance and leadership to less experienced engineers. Prior experience with a global remote workforce is required.
