Job Description:
The Automated Regression Testing Team converts the current WORKSOFT automated test suite to the TOSCA platform and maintains that test suite as we advance.
Automated Regression Tester Role:
Transform business test cases into automated test coverage
Develop repeatable, fully automated tests using the Tricentis TOSCA tool that will operate without manual intervention
Provide creative solutions to challenges encountered developing repeatable automation
Rapidly update tests based on changes in the application
Contribute to the build-out of lights out automation
Create test coverage using risk-based testing techniques
Automated Regression Testing Project Goals:
Reduce the one week turn-around time to a maximum of 3 days
Increase test coverage with an overall reduction in the number of test cases (60%) and expected reduction in turn-around time for full-suite execution
Provide business and the UAT Team with access to a high level and detailed information on test coverage
Reduce the time required to maintain test scripts to support changes in the AUTs (Applications Under Test)
Increase testing validations, including a comprehensive validation of NOAs (Notice of Action)
Provide comprehensive test coverage across Medicaid Eligibility, FIP, and SNAP
Required Experience:
Experience developing automated test cases using TOSCA or WORK SOFT Thorough knowledge of automated functional regression testing Data-driven test development techniques, Object recognition, Test validation, Lights out unattended automation, Following framework and guidelines established by the QA Leads 2 YEARS REQUIRED
Ability to transform business test cases into automated test coverage 2 YEARS REQUIRED
Experience with batch testing
Ability to develop creative solutions to challenges that arise, creating a repeatable automated test suite 2 YEARS REQUIRED
Ability to develop basic SQL queries to use for database validation 2 YEARS REQUIRED
Demonstrated ability to effectively use third party tools and system utilities 5 YEARS REQUIRED
Demonstrated ability of high levels of interpersonal and communication skills - 5 YEARS REQUIRED
Ability to work well in a project team 5 YEARS REQUIRED
Highly Desired Experience
Knowledge of Dev/Ops Concepts and continuous testing
Experience with Medicaid Eligibility, 508 testing, and CMS regulations
Experience working in Agile project methodologies.
Knowledge and expertise deploying risk-based testing techniques
Experience developing and executing API test cases
