Job Summary:
The AEM developer will be responsible for execution of critical projects in AEM. This individual will take an active ownership role in our AEM development workstream as well as have a hand in developing the overall Javascript framework. This individual will manage multiple workstreams related to their assigned project portfolio, support the SDLC process, work with the JIRA process and ensure consistency through the development framework
Essential Job Functions:
A. Work with the Architect, Project Manager, Business team, Technology team, Clients and Partners to capture the active, as well as on-going maintenance/support related requirements and make changes to the application accordingly.
B. Lead development team, assuring timely delivery, helping development team with day to day tasks, challenges.
C. Design and Develop AEM templates, components, experiences.
D. Author content as well as experiences in AEM.
E. Maintain and support A e Experience Manager Application.
F. Accommodate day to day change requests and quickly make changes to the application.
G. Estimate efforts for various support tasks, and prioritize the same with the business team.
H. Make changes to AEM site content, assets, and workflow.
I. Design and build components, templates, dialogs, and workflows using the AEM architecture (Sling, CRX, OSGI, and JCR
J. Diagnose and solve technical problems related to content management such as search result accuracy, dynamic content linking, formatting, image scaling, internationalization, and personalization.
K. Work in an agile, rapid development and prototyping environment.
L. Translate business requirements into AEM specific implementation specifications.
M. Design and improve internal development methodologies
N. Manage and prioritize workload between project and maintenance tasks
O. Technical lead for application environment layer
P. Other services as requested
Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:
A. Minimum of 4 years A e AEM development experience
B. Working experience with the Personalization feature in AEM
C. Working experience in developing templates and components in AEM
D. Proficiency in authoring and deployment activities in AEM
E. Comfortable with data exchange protocols like JSON and XML
F. Minimum of 8 years of experience working with Java, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and attendant technologies
Education
Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology, related field OR commensurate experience.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
· Experience interfacing with program managers, project owners, architects, partners/stakeholders.
· Experience developing templates, and documenting requirements.
· Experience and desire to work within a fast-paced, dynamic and iterative development environment.
· Experience working with Agile methodologies.
· Experience working with JIRA, WIKI and other collaborative tools.
· Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
· Must have ability to work the time necessary to complete projects and/or meet deadlines.
