Job Title: Active Directory Consultant

Location: Richfield, MN

Job Type: Full-Time

Exp. Range: 8

Role Description:

Should have 8 plus years of industry experience and have experience in L3 Engineering Activities on Active Directory, Oracle Directory Server etc.
Should have good understanding of Active Directory with prior experience of being an integrator/configurator, administrator etc.
Attend project meetings regarding implementation schedules and deployment plans. Validation of requirements & prerequisites.
Set up design and plan for building AD infrastructure Example :Build NP forest, Promote Domain Controllers (DC’s), Demote DC’s, Implement Group Policy Object’s (GPO’s) as per business requirements. Build trusts between forests. Work on operation issues being escalated to L3.Integrate applications to NP forest.
Testing Knowledge. Test to see if authentications and authorizations are valid. Validations Changes with Business.
Should understand various infrastructure technology functions and possess good communication skills.
Should have understanding of user access management domain of IT Security especially, typical processes and controls.
Should have understanding of security related concepts such as authentication, authorization, role, permissions, groups, rules etc.
Confidence and drive to take tasks and project to completions within the deadline by taking responsibility.
Good communication skills – spoken and written.
Manage and prioritize day-to-day activities.
Building process improvements and implementation of best practices.
Have knowledge of Java, SQL, LDAP, Scripting, Unix.
Troubleshooting user access related issues on platforms and applications.
Understand projects requirements anticipate timelines and deliverables and communicate the same to management.
Learn existing and tools, technologies, processes, procedures and document them per standards and share it with the team members.
Have good programing experience and was part of at least one Identity & Access Management Implementation project during implementation work.
Understand the requirements of management for various reports and metrics and provide the same per schedule.
