Wintel Administrator
Responsibilities:
Perform patch and OS upgrades and implement security configuration of the systems.
Work moderate scope projects.
Assist in root cause analysis of service problems.
Coordinate with other Infrastructure teams to deliver patching and configuration items without user impact.
Ensure processes are documented and up to date.
Assists in problem-solving efforts often involving outside vendors and other support personnel and/or organizations (to include on/off hours
Performs basic troubleshooting as required.
Requirements:
BS Degree CS or MIS or equivalent experience in related roles
Knowledge of the following Microsoft technologies: Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Windows Server (2003-2016)
Proven Experience in the following virtualization technologies: VMWare ESX, VMWare Virtual Center, VMWare Update Manager, Vrealize Operations Manager.
Experience with VSAN and VMWare SRM
Experience with VMWare NSX a plus
Knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V a plus
Knowledge of Cloud Hosting Including Azure and AWS.
Experience with Server Hardware including Dell, HP, and Cisco
Knowledge of Storage Technologies including iSCSI and Fiber Channel
Knowledge of Enterprise Backup Solutions including Netbackup and Avamar
Basic Network Knowledge and Cisco UCS experience a plus.
Enterprise level experience supporting vSphere and deployments.
Experience in configuration and maintenance of security practices.
Demonstrated ability to use discretion and make sound decisions.
Ability to excel in a collaborative and distributed team environment; establish strong relationship-building and communication skills with team members and business users.

Description:
Project Name: Citrix/Windows Engineer
This is a combination of Citrix Administration and Windows Administration (50/50 split)
This role requires?an energetic, customer service-oriented technologist with a minimum of 3-5years applicable work experience in Windows Server administration, Citrix, Powershell scripting, and application support. Familiarity with O365 and fax server technologies is a plus.
Qualifications
1. Management/administration of Citrix Xenapp Server and Netscaler hardware
2. Installation, maintenance and administration of Remote Desktop Services
3. Installation, maintenance and administration of Windows Server and Active Directory
4. Management of Microsoft server security configuration and patching
5. Provisioning and administration of user access credentials and folder permissions
6. Maintenance and administration of DHCP, DNS, IIS, FTP and other network services
7. Administration of server hardware and software inventories and documentation
8. Monitor and work customer support tickets and requests
9. Respond to server resource monitoring alerts
10. Knowledge of and applied experience of handling performance monitoring and tuning
11. Ability to participate in a rotational 24/7 on-call schedule
12. Perform other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
1. Windows Server: 2008 - 2019
2. Citrix XenApp 6.5 and 7.x
3. Microsoft Active Directory
4. Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
5. Knowledge and understanding of server virtualization focused on VMware products
6. Demonstrate basic to intermediate scripting knowledge and skills with PowerShell
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Associates degree or equivalent hands-on work experience
3+ years’ experience in server configuration management, administration and production support
Microsoft Server systems certifications preferred such as: Microsoft MCP, MCSA, MCSE, MCITP are valued
