Role: UFT Automation Testers,
Location: Austin, TX

Looking for an Automation Tester with relevant experience in writing VB scripts; not just recording and performing play back. The tester should be able to understand the business logic of a test case and should be able to automate it efficiently using reusable functions.
Required Tool Experience:
UFT 14.1 / 12.0 / 12.2 and HP ALM 12.55 / 12.2 / 12.0
Additional Tools is a PLUS:
SOAP UI, PuTTY, REST Services, Knowledge of Selenium
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Development of new UFT automated scripts.
Candidate should have complete knowledge of UFT - script creation, script execution
Candidate should be able debug VB and UFT scripts
Candidate should have good SQL (witting) skills
Candidate should have working knowledge of Web Services and related tools
Candidate should have basic understanding of UNIX
Maintenance of existing automated tests, including the ones that may be written by other testers.
Effectively and efficiently work with Test Team in order to aid in defining, planning, developing, executing, managing, and reporting of new development, maintenance, and support work.
Candidates must be willing to work evenings and weekends, as necessary, to support project goals, especially during the peak testing timeframe.
Candidates must be able to work well in a team environment and should possess good communication skills.
Work proficiently, efficiently, and with full accountability for each assignment''s result while ensuring that the new automated tests facilitate in the completion of project goals.
Communicate effectively and persuasively with Development Teams regarding approaches and options in automated regression testing and defects management.
Experience in Public Sector - Health and Human Services is a plus
