Title: UI/UX Designer
Location: Columbia SC
Duration: 12 Months

Job Description
Daily Duties / Responsibilities:
Quality experiences that work across browsers and devices
Intuitive user interfaces/experiences
Facilitate continuous testing of interfaces and experiences
Designs will be responsive
The resource will be working on multiple efforts including the development of a new microsite design will be highly user friendly and compatible with latest technologies and latest browsers
working directly for the ICD-10 program director then moving to working for the MMIS replacement manager.
Works within the Agile/Scrum process to develop a culture of continuous improvement
Collaborate with marketing and other business teams and customers to understand requirements and define software UI/UX
Work to develop common, rich user interfaces and reusable components for enterprise-class websites and ecommerce sites
Produce interactive prototypes that meet business requirements and provide context for UI Engineers

Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Self-starter, with a keen interest in technology and highly motivated towards success
Must show initiative and desire to learn business and technology subjects
Able to work independently and provide updates to management
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent problem-solving skills; proven teamwork and communication skills
Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting

Required Skills (Rank In Order Of Importance):
Bachelor’s Degree in Technical or Business Field
Experienced with HTML5,CSS, VisualBasic, HTML, XML, Java, and ASP
Expert in rapid prototyping with Axure, UXPin, Sketch, or equivalent
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong cognitive ability especially with respect to
understanding, documenting, and describing complex technical subjects

Preferred Skills (Rank In Order Of Importance):
Prior experience working in areas of emerging technology and driving new points of view and capabilities.
JavaScript
Experience with defining and creating highly functional UX design and prototyping in a fast paced evolving environment.

Required Education/Certifications:
BACHELORS DEGREE IN TECHNICAL OR BUSINESS FIELD
