Title: System Engineer
Location: Kent, WA
Duration: 12 Months
Description:
As a Systems Engineer on the Collaboration team, you’ll be responsible for providing operational engineering and support for Office 365 Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams as well as other client collaboration solutions.
You’ll design and test plans to ensure the stability and integrity of systems, troubleshoot and analyze failures to minimize outages/service interruptions.
This position will be responsible for administrating, maintaining, and deploying various new services, O365-based business solutions as well as establishing standards, processes, and configuration guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Perform problem support and root cause analysis following service issues
Perform administrative maintenance on the Office 365 tenant services to ensure optimal service response times, proper license counts and appropriate rights allocations
Be a part of the migration effort moving SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint Online
Help facilitate and support the rollout of Microsoft Teams to the organization
Perform product and integration testing as needed
Ensure systems adherence and compliance with security standards and practices.
Educate, train, and provide support to other team members on newly released Office 365 offerings and/or services, technologies and processes
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent training and experience
2+ years’ experience O365, administration, configuration and support
Proficient knowledge of SharePoint, MS Teams, and Office 365 Groups administration and support
Experience with Yammer, Stream, and enterprise social tools a plus
Experience with Collaboration tools such as Slack, Confluence, etc. a plus
Advanced knowledge/skills of Microsoft Windows 10
Strong desire to learn with a passion for technology and innovation
Experience with PowerShell
Excellent written and communication skills
