Sr. Network Administrator

We have an immediate opportunity with a large F500 client in the Columbus, OH area.

Sr. Network Administrator
Location: Columbus, OH

Must have skills:

? He/she should be technical lead material with strong communications skills, should be good at handling client SME’s and technical escalations calls.
? Must have offshore onsite coordination skills.


Network Specialist with experience in Cisco Routing & Switching, Voice, WLC, ISE, ASA, F5 and checkpoint administration and support.
hardware Platforms: Cisco ASR, ISR series routers, Cisco N9K switches,
7+ years’ experience in networking, security, wireless and voice
Extensive experience in Installation, troubleshooting, configuring and maintaining Cisco switches, Routers, F5 Load Balancers, WLC, ASA and checkpoint firewall
Good understanding of Cisco voice and contact center environment experience a plus.
The Sr. Network Engineer will have a broad technical acumen, knowledge and experience with IT systems, Cloud services, System Interoperability and various communication protocols.
Experience troubleshooting SD WAN based networks.
Establishing networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards
Solid experience of routing, switching protocols (EIGRP, BGP, VLAN, VTP, MST, RPVST, Ether-channel, Dot1Q Trunking, Pruning Analyzing packet captures etc.
Strong knowledge of various VPN technologies including site to site, cloud and partner IPSec based VPNs.
Handle and troubleshoot Cisco routers, NEXUS switches (9000 series) configured with VDC, VPC, FEX
Experience in administering and troubleshooting F5 (GTM / LTM)
In depth knowledge of ASA and Check Point firewall troubleshooting. Administering firewall rules, VPN and implementing NAT''s.
Hands on experience in WLC, Cisco ISE and Meraki wireless AP''s
Monitor system performance and execute approved preventative maintenance
Experience in Coordination with third parties, like ISP, vendors
Design and implementation of new solutions and improving resilience of the current environment
Support and administration of firewall environments in line with IT security policy


Thorough Cisco Routing, Switching, WLC, ASA, F5 skills.
VOIP - Basics of Cisco VOIP and Cisco Contact center
Must have worked on Firewalls, ISE


Active certification such as CCNP data and CCNP Voice are preferred. CCNA Routing/ Switching/VOIP is acceptable with demonstrated experience.
Anyone with experience on network automation is preferred
