Title: Sr Data Analyst
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Dover, NH
Description:
Looking for highly experienced analysts to help implement a new Analytics squad focused on creating dashboards, ad hoc reports and providing analytical insight on a variety of IT categories to help run the shop.
Responsibilities:
Generate robust data reports at both high (summary) and low (verbose deep-dive) level. Clear presentation and communication of data and highlights to leadership is key.
Pull data, analyze, and communicate results. Pivot or shift approaches when necessary in response to what you learn.
Automate reporting using appropriate coding languages
Create/modernize dashboards
Create/maintain databases for reporting
Implement documentation repository
Train existing staff
Experience:
5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Data Specialist
Experience working in an Agile/Kanban setting
Extensive knowledge of Excel Power Pivot and Power Query and DAX Language
Expertise in use of Power BI and SharePoint coding, other programming languages
Experience with Data tools such as DB Visualizer and query language such as SQL
Experience working with Microsoft Power Apps and Flow
Experience working with IT Assets (application inventory, server, software, etc),Troux and Remedy data a plus
Understanding of Application Portfolio Management (build, maintain, retire, enhance) and Total Cost of Ownership concepts (TCO)
Ability to summarize large fields of data and present and visualize this information in a compelling, digestible fashion.
Superior analytical and quantitative skills; experience using data and metrics to test theories, confirm assumptions, and measure success.
Ability to effectively communicate data and information to senior management.
Comfortable diving deep into very large fields of data
